- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Jim M. -- Malone’s Story….well worth waiting for! : If the truth be told…..lots of folks would probably prefer to skip their high school reunions and this was true for Malone Rice as well. But she couldn’t opt out since she was supposed to be receiving a reward…..and it wouldn’t be so terrible seeing Ian Blair again. So off she went and not long into the festivities…..a crisis occurred which would completely alter her life’s trajectory. This led them through rabbit trails of discovery so fantastic….you’ll have to read it to believe it!!! Awesome adventure and it’s always so interesting catching up on the lives of their growing network of crime fighter family and friends. Great book….the last of the amazing Nighthawk Security Series featuring Malone’s story which was well worth waiting for! Thank you Susan Sleeman, you never disappoint! After Malone is saved from a cruel attack being done by a classmate by Ian while in high school his heroics brought on a crush. Many years later at their class reunion Malone and Ian renew their relationship in an unexpected way. They have a murder to solve! I loved the message of this book about God creating a new heart in those who put their trust in Him. She shows that our past doesn’t have to define us. I have read many of her books. This series called Nighthawk Security build off of her Truth Seeker novels. This is the last Nighthawk book but her new Steele Guardians series builds on it. You will form attachments to the main characters in all these books. - 5.0 out of 5 stars from Kathy Moore -- Family By Choice : I'm so glad that Malone got her own story! She seemed so mysterious when she was mentioned in the other books. There was also plenty of mystery, suspense and action in this story! The identity of villains kept me guessing and the ending had a very unexpected twist. I also appreciated the personal conflicts that both Malone and Ian had to figure out before they could move forward. This was a great ending to another amazing series by Susan Sleeman! You render to read this book to figure it all out. Junior was definitely full of surprises.
