And yet it wasn't until I met Dr. Gordon at his daughter's wedding and subsequently read Venerable Terry's book that I reached closure for some choices I made that were at times such tremendous burdens to bear. Such closure revolved around one insight he shared that rang the Bell of Awakening in me: that the tragedy in my life was "as if I had chose this." That very idea had been floating in my head for years now. I saw my choice of tragedy as a challenge to my advancement. But my compadres in insight practice did not see such merit. When Terry advanced the thought, it was as if a wound in my soul started to heal. My Gratitude runs deep for Terry Gordon. Sadu! Sadu! Sadu! ( Reviewed in the United States on July 19, 2018 )

He has been a great heart specialist and has done many fine things in and for the community as well. For him to suffer the pain and agony of having his son injured in this way and having the fortitude and faith to chronicle his activities during this stressful period is beyond comprehension. We can all learn a lesson from his efforts. And yes, no storm lasts forever. Sometime the ending is happy, sometimes it is not. Mr. Gordon shares his life experiences and gives practical spriritual guidance, life advice, and strategies for coping in a non-preachy way. For people going through any kind of life challenge, or even just those in need of some perspective, this is a wonderful book. I find myself going back to it again and again and again to "tune up" my mind and help keep myself on a positive track, especially when the going gets tough. Wonderful! I was drawn to the book because I used to work with the author and have much respect for his skill and character. My heart ached for his jouney through a most difficult injury to his son but I rejoiced as he found peace through his insights. I have passed this book on to our son.
